Privacy Policy

AploCam is an iOS app made by Tarik Belaid, released in June 2026. This page explains how the app handles your information. The short version: it does not collect any.

What AploCam collects

Nothing. AploCam does not collect personal information, usage analytics, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, or contact details. This matches the “Data Not Collected” declaration shown on the app’s App Store listing.

Because no data is gathered, there is nothing for me to sell, share, or hand to a third party.

Your scripts and recordings stay on your device

The scripts you write, the audio you record, and the videos you shoot or edit in AploCam are stored on your device. They are never uploaded to a server of mine, because I do not run one that receives your content.

If you have iCloud backup enabled, your device may include app data in its own backups. That is handled by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy, according to the settings you control on your device.

Camera, microphone, and photo access

AploCam asks permission to use your camera and microphone so you can record video and audio, and may ask for access to your photo library so you can save or import media. These permissions are used only for the feature you asked for, and the resulting files stay on your device.

You can review or withdraw any of these permissions at any time in the iOS Settings app.

Voice playback

The app can read your script aloud using the speech features built into iOS. That processing is performed by Apple’s system services under Apple’s own privacy handling.

Purchases

Downloads and any in-app purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. I never see your payment details. Apple’s privacy policy governs that part of the relationship.

Children

AploCam is not directed at children under 13. Since the app collects no data at all, no information is gathered from any user, whatever their age.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will appear on this page with a new date at the top.
